On stage, I'm a true collaborator. I understand the importance of working as part of a team and pride myself on my ability to support, encourage and challenge my fellow actors. Since my first white-knuckle gig as Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! (See my Bio page for more) I've thrived in the spotlight and kept my cool when things go wrong (they always do don't they?).
My live performance experience extends beyond traditional theater. I've portrayed Amelia Earhart in an interactive children's exhibit, performed comic roasts and I love to do singing telegrams. I can make 'em laugh, make 'em cry or make 'em think, whatever the job requires. "Kris acted in my stage play Demea back in the 90s, and in my film Death Planet in more recent times. It was fun working with her. She commits to the roles she plays, is easy to work with, and is willing and able to go crazy places when the role calls for it."
In theater, as in life, it's crucial to give it your best at all times. I'm committed, not only to my own performance, but to helping my cast-mates perform their best as well. My experience with last-minute changes and disastrous situations has prepared me to handle anything that stage life throws at me. When you cast me in your production, you've got yourself a calm, cool collaborator that can roll with the punches and come back for more. Contact me for an audition today and find out for yourself!
